So the manhe">[fn] got up, immediately picked up his cot, and went out before all of them. As a result, all of the people were amazed and began to glorify God, saying, "We have never seen anything like this!"

Then the shepherds returned to their flock,to their flock">[fn] glorifying and praising God for everything they had heard and seen, just as it had been told to them.

Amazement seized all the people, and they began to praise God. They were filled with fearawe">[fn] and declared, "We have seen wonderful things today!"

He was now approaching the descent from the Mount of Olives. The whole crowd of disciples began to rejoice and to praise God with a loud voice for all the miracles they had seen.

No one has ever seen God. The unique God,Son">[fn] who is close to the Father's side, has revealed him.Exodus 33:20; Deuteronomy 4:12; Matthew 11:27; Luke 10:22; John 3:16,18; 4:14; 6:46; 1 Timothy 1:17; 6:16; John 3:16,18, 1 John 4:9,12, 20;">[xr]

I have seen this and have testified that this is the SonChosen One">[fn] of God."

Not that anyone has seen the Father except the one who comes from God. This one has seen the Father.Matthew 11:27; Luke 10:22; John 1:18; 5:37; 7:29; 8:19;">[xr]

As soon as he had seen the vision, we immediately looked for a way to go to Macedonia, for we were convinced that God had called us to tell them the good news.2 Corinthians 2:13;">[xr]

But as it is written,Isaiah 64:4;">[xr] "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined the things that God has prepared for those who love him."Isaiah 64:4">[fn]

By faith we understand that the universe was prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was made from things that are invisible.Genesis 1:1; Psalm 33:6; John 1:3; Hebrews 1:2; 2 Peter 3:5;">[xr]

No one has ever seen God. If we love one another, God lives in us, and his love is perfected in us.John 1:18; 1 Timothy 6:16; 1 John 2:5,18; 4:20;">[xr]

Whoever says, "I love God," but hates his brother is a liar. The one who does not love the brother whom he has seen cannot love a God whom he has not seen.1 John 2:4;">[xr]

Dear friend, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. The person who does what is good is from God. The person who does what is evil has never seen God.[xr]

He even tries to stop those who want to accept them and throws them out of the church. Dear friend, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. The person who does what is good is from God. The person who does what is evil has never seen God.[xr] Demetrius has received a good report from everyone, including the truth itself. We, too, can testify to this, and you know that our testimony is true.[xr] Although I have a great deal to write to you, I would rather not write with pen and ink.[xr] Instead, I hope to see you soon and talk face to face.
